I Got a Vote
As far as the national elections went, all I can say is that it was unfortunate that somebody won and it wasn't liberty. If there is any good to be had out of the recent election it might be that the Republican party will decide to kick the neocons to the curb and move back to a true conservative position. If they did, I would consider voting for them again. I'm not holding my breath on that happening, but there is a possibility.
The local elections here in Tennessee were a little bit better. The county voted down a wheel tax and voted in liquor stores. The Democrats no longer control either the State Senate or the House of Representatives. And to top it all off, yours truly got exactly one vote for State Representative. It was an uncontested seat and I wrote my own name in.
The end result of all of this? I'm buying more ammo, reloading supplies and now I won't have to drive as far to get some booze to drown my sorrows.

A maintenance note:
The address http://www.realsurvivability.com/ after Jan. 01 will stop working, however you can still find this blog at http://realsurvivalability.blogspot.com/. At this point time my finances require me to cut back and I'm not going to be spending the money for the IP address when I can still have the free one from Blogger.
