Going the Distance
After being downsized from work, I spent a couple of days getting everything back under control and starting the Job search thing. I have an interview coming up Monday, so it's not all gloom and doom on the financial front. In fact if this job works out, I'll stand to be making a lot more money than I was at my last job.
I will have to move out of state and that means I'll be paying state income taxes again, higher cost of living, being close to a major nuclear bulls eye and within range of hurricanes. But sometimes those are the prices you pay to make sure your family doesn't do without. More on that later, assuming that the interview goes well.
I went to my local Tea Party rally on the 15th. Did you? I don't expect it to have done much good, but if I'm going to to be considered a radical because I believe in the second amendment, less government and fewer taxes and because I vote for third party candidates that actually support the constitution, I might as well go the distance. We are all losing our liberty anyway, might as well bitch about it while you still can.
Speaking of rights and freedoms, I've started exercising one of mine. I've started practicing open-carry here on the farm. The Constitution IS my carry permit. If that makes you nervous or afraid, then stay away.
One of the greatest dangers to freedom in this country are people who don't have guns. These are the people that put their lives in the hands of the government and expect it to protect them. It doesn't take long before they start saying "there ought to be a law against" what ever they don't like. The next thing you know, you are a criminal because you don't want to depend on others for you safety. To all of the sheeple out there I say "Fuck You and the horse you rode in on", and to those bunch of lying cocksuckers known as Congress, "I'm Pissed and I Vote." Pray that you never fuck with that cause it wouldn't be pretty.
